MR. I.M.KADRI

Mr. I.M. Kadri is a Partner and Principal Architect at I. M. Kadri Architects. Mr. I.M. Kadri holds a B.E. (Civil) degree.

In 1960, he established this architecture firm and has been successfully running it ever since. His is a distinguished name in the architecture fraternity owing to his successful career spanning over 5 decades! His name features in the Guiness Book of Records for creating the world’s highest stained glass mural (135 feet) at the Ramada hotel, Dubai.

MR. RAHUL I KADRI

Mr. Rahul Kadri is Principal Architect & Partner at I.M.Kadri Architects.

After graduating with a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, he assumed directorship of Kadri Consultants Pvt. Ltd in 1995. Since then he has designed and executed several architecture and town planning projects under his leadership. Significant works include townships for TATA’S, Jindals & Reliance and college campuses for Symbiosis and the Supreme Court Of India.

MRS. ISHA MEHRA

Ms. Isha Mehra is an entrepreneur as well as President and Director of The P.R.I.D.E. India, an NGO which works for development of rural areas. She takes active interest in provision of livelihood and healthcare services in rural areas along with supporting the causes of education and women empowerment through Save The Children India. She has completed her Graduation in History and Sociology from Sophia College, Mumbai.

MRS. MONISHA SHETTY

Mrs. Monisha Shetty is the creative director of R House Furnishing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and the director of S2 Realty Developers. She is passionate about interiors and social causes such as education and women’s empowerment. She has founded Araaish, a fundraising event for Save The Children India. Her interests include fashion, fitness and traveling.

MR. YOGESH MEHRA

Mr. Yogesh Mehra is a Chartered Accountant and holds the post of Fund Manager at Yogesh Mehra Associates. He completed his education from reputed institutes such as Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Sydenham and H.R. Colleges of Commerce. He enjoys traveling, reading and sports.

MRS. REKHA PRADIP RAJAGOPAL

Ms. Rekha Rajagopal is an Advocate at High Court. She appears as the Advocate on Record as well as a Counsel for various private and public companies. She also owns and manages a long-established legal firm. Apart from Save The Children India, she is affiliated to Maharashtra State Council for Women and Indian Law Institute.

MR. JUZAR S KHORAKIWALA

Mr. Juzar Khorakiwala is a Chairman and Managing Director of Biostadt India Ltd. He holds Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Masters in Business Management (MBA) degrees. He is a recipient of the prestigious "TRIPLE-A” Award for Management (1991-92) from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines. He is currently the President of the Indo-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and has been the President of Rotary Club of Bombay Central (2002-03). He is involved in various social issues and is an avid tennis player.

MRS SHIMUL JAVERI KADRI

Mrs. Shimul Javeri Kadri is an architect at SJK Architects and is invited as a speaker to numerous architectural institutions. She has completed her education in Urban Planning at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. As a Trustee of Save the Children India, she actively steers its education and women’s projects. She is also on the Board of Directors of Akshara, a Women’s resource centre.

Suniel Shetty is a renowned Actor, Entrepreneur, Producer, Humanitarian, Sports Promoter and Enthusiast. He has proven his acumen as a man with an understanding of business and aesthetics mixed with ethics, goodwill and strong relationships with people from all walks of life. His interest in business and sports inspired him to get involved in real estate, hospitality, sports, entertainment, films and fashion. His sports enthusiasm has him associated with several sports events and teams such as the Celebrity Cricket League, World Series Hockey and World Boxing Series.

Mrs. Neerja Birla is a multifaceted personality. Her brain child, MPower the Movement, is set out to bring about a positive change in the attitude towards mental health. She is the Founder and Chairperson of the MPower Movement. She has a Bachelor’s of Science Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Derby, England. She is actively engaged as the Chairperson in ‘The Aditya Birla World Academy’ and is also the Founder and Chairperson of ‘The Aditya Birla Integrated School’ for children with special needs and abilities. She is very passionate about children, education and mental health.

DR. (MRS.) INDU SHAHANI

Dr. (Mrs.) Indu Shahani is the Principal of H.R. College (Mumbai) and a former Sheriff of Mumbai. She graduated from Sydenham College and holds a PhD in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. She has been a Lead Speaker at various conferences in India and abroad. She has also been acknowledged worldwide for her significant contribution to education and value-based leadership.

MR. AYAZ MEMON

Mr. Ayaz Memon has studied economics and law, a journalist by profession and a lover of cricket. He started his career as a sports writer and went on to edit newspapers like Mid-Day, Bombay Times and DNA apart from being the editor of Sportsweek magazine and sports editor of the Times of India and The Independent at various stages of his career. He is now consulting editor of NewsX and columnist with publications like Hindustan Times, Times of India, Mint, Asian Age, DainikBhaskar, Forbes International among others.

MR. MIHIR DOSHI

Mr. Mihir Doshi is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse, India. He has been instrumental in re-establishing Credit Suisse's India franchise. He is a member of the Asia Pacific Management Committee and the Emerging Markets Council. He served as a Member on the Managing Director Evaluation Committee (MDEC) between 2009 and 2011. He is actively involved in Credit Suisse's corporate responsibility initiatives and is a member of the Asia Pacific Philanthropy Committee. Apart from being the Trustee of Save The Children India, he is the Chairman of United Way of Mumbai and a Board Member of Teach For India.

MR.SANJAY TUGNAIT

Sanjay Tugnait is the CEO of Capgemini Canada. Prior to the integration of IGATE with Capgemini, he was the Executive Vice-President and Head of Americas.

He also was a Managing Partner in Accenture's Financial Services North America and a member of Accenture's CEO Advisory Board. He holds the award for the Corporate Executive of the Year (2014) awarded by the Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Toronto. He has been an active member on multiple boards including MIIDB, Greater Toronto Marketing Alliance and the advisory board for Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto. He has published several industry-relevant white papers and has been interviewed by Wall Street Journal, Forbes and CNBC

DR. SUBHADRA ANAND

For 8 years, Dr. Subhadra Anand has contributed immensely to the advancement of Save The Children India’s vision and mission. Prior to this, she dedicated her life to education. Her career in the field of education spanned 36 years- first as a lecturer in History, then as the Vice-Principal and finally as the Principal of National College, Mumbai. She is also a prominent academic, specialising in the history and culture of the Sindhi community. She has presented many research papers in national and international conferences including Harvard, Oxford, IIM Ahmedabad, etc. and has been acclaimed for her path breaking work.

MR. DILIP BHADARGE

Mr. Dilip Bhadarge is a result-oriented professional in the field of management and administration of Charitable Trusts. He has expertise in legal compliance and NGO governance. His career spans over 20 years in the development sector with academic excellence as Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Financial Management.

MRS. SUSHILA SHATRI

Sushila joined the organisation in 1991. Ever since, she has been involved in Partnership building, program management, fund raising, research, advocacy, monitoring and evaluation. She is closely involved with building and optimising learning environments for the underprivileged children, facilitating training and building capacities of teachers. She leads and oversees a team of 400+ people and builds the core competencies of the staff with regard to program sustainability.

MRS. JYOTI NALE TAJANE

Mrs. Jyoti Nale-Tajane heads the anti-human trafficking initiative of the organization. She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work, and joined Save The Children India in 2004 as a Program Officer. She is responsible for overall planning, strategy and management of the SOS program. Currently she is pursuing Post Graduation in Development Management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research.

MRS. AKANKSHA DHURI

Since 5 years, Mrs. Akanksha Dhuri heads Dhvani Early Intervention Centre for Hearing Impaired. She is associated with the program since its inception. She is a qualified Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist from Topiwala National Medical College, Nair Hospital. She has also completed a diploma in special education for hearing impaired. She has over 10 years of experience working with young hearing impaired children.

MS. REENA TETE

Ms. Reena Tete is associated with Save The Children India since 2014 and focuses on strategic and quality management and assessment of programmes, staffing and impact. She has a total work experience of 14 years. She was also associated with our organization for 4 years in the capacity of Rural Coordinator for Anti-Human Trafficking in Maharashtra. She has completed her M.A. in Social Work.

MRS. MADHURI TAWADE
  • Principal - Section of Hearing Impaired Children

Mrs. Madhuri Tawde has been part of Special Care Center since its inception. She has completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She has also acquired a Diploma in Special Education (Hearing Impaired). She became Principal in 1993. All these years, she has been committed to the cause of quality special education and has brought on various improvements in the school.

MRS. PRAMILA SALVI
  • Principal - Section of Mentally Challenged Children

With a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Diploma in Special Education (Learning Disability), Mrs. Pramila Salvi joined Special Care Center during its inception and proved herself to be a dedicated teacher. She got promoted to the post of Principal in the year 2012. She has shown compassion and skill in resolving the challenges of students with Learning Disability.

MRS. AMITA SHETTY

Mrs. Amita Shetty joined the organisation in 2008. She completed her MA in Sociology. She provides her expertise when it comes to individual fundraising, donations in kind and events. In 2016, she became the Head of Department in the Administration team. She is responsible for the recruiting and training of employees, maintaining a safe and secure working environment, continuity among various departments, etc.

FARIDA BAGASRAWALA

Farida Bagasrawala brings over 20 years of experience as Educationalist specializing in Elementary and Secondary school education, Special Need Education for developmentally delayed children. Being program director, she is responsible for overall planning and management of the special care unit where 250 children are catered to. She is also the Trustee with the Indian Council for Mental Health (ICHM). Farida holds a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Master's in Child Care and Education, Post-Graduation in Counseling and has done her Business Management from India School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. Recently, she added a Post Graduate degree in Management in the Social Sector from S P Jain Institute of Management and Research.

MS. SHIVANI SANGHAVI

Ms. Shivani Sanghavi brings more than 12 years of work experience in Integrated Marketing and Communication and Events with significant projects displaying brand strategy, communication, corporate partnerships and cause related marketing. As Chief of Corporate Association & Events, her profile sees her in charge of various verticals such as Strategic Corporate Partnerships, Events, Resource Mobilisation and Employee Engagement Programs.

She has previously worked as the Program Manager at United Way of Mumbai and was the National Senior. Manager, Events at Magic Bus.

Ms. Shivani Sanghavi is also a honorary visiting faculty with Mumbai University teaching the subjects of Advertising Design, Introduction to Advertising, Radio and Understanding Cinema. She was the Course Coordinator for the Bachelors in Mass Media (B.M.M) at R.D National College from April 2007-November 2010.

Apart from a degree in Applied Arts Ms. Shivani Sanghavi also holds a a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Mumbai and has completed a Certificate Course on Enterprise Training for Women (ETW) NMIMS, Mumbai in Collaboration with (SIDBI) & Scottish Enterprise Foundation, University of Stirling, Scotland.
